Who We Are

The Woman's Club of Arcadia is a charitable, non-profit organization founded in 1914.  It is a division of The California Federation of Women's Clubs (CFWC), which is a member of the General Federation of Women's Clubs (GFWC).  The GFWC is one of the world's largest and oldest women's volunteer organizations, with members of all ages from all walks of life.

The goals of the Woman's Club of Arcadia, like its parent organization, are to unite women of all ages for community service, and to provide fellowship and support for one another and the larger global community.  Specifically, the club strives to:

Prevent crime

Preserve natural resources

Encourage individual leadership

Promote education and eradicate illiteracy

Support the arts and contribute to international understanding
